GoodCall marked a significant milestone this year – celebrating our 10th anniversary with an unforgettable teambuilding retreat in the picturesque town of Mikulov, the birthplace of our founder, Milan Novák.  

The festivities kicked off on May 17, 2024. The event was in grand style, so there was no better place to celebrate than the Mikulov Castle. Upon arrival, a surprise awaited the GoodCall employees – brand-new company merch! The classic T-shirt was now joined by stylish hoodies, which were a huge hit.  

In the afternoon, everyone could choose an activity that best suited their interests. Cycling enthusiasts embarked on a scenic ride through the Pálava region, while wine lovers indulged in a tasting experience at the Lípa winery. History buffs took part in a guided tour of the town, and nature lovers conquered Svatý Kopeček hill, enjoying the views and a glass of local wine in hand. The last group ventured underground – on a tour of the Turold Cave. 

In the evening, we all gathered again at the castle for dinner. This was followed by a speech from our founder and CEO of GoodCall, Milan Novák, who entertained and touched everyone present. 

The highlight of the evening was the pub quiz and the announcement of the winners of the day-long competition. Afterward, music, singing, and dancing awaited us. The local Cimbálová muzika Klaret provided the musical accompaniment, filling the castle with traditional Moravian melodies. They were then followed by another local band, For People, who got everyone onto the dance floor, which was packed until the late hours of the night. 

After a hearty breakfast, it was time to leave Mikulov and head back to our homes in different corners of the country. However, the Mikulov teambuilding will undoubtedly remain in our memories for a long time to come.
